Microsoft Teams · Team communication

Send the next step to the right team.

Bring a call’s operational outcome to a selected Teams channel. The integration uses a work or school account’s delegated access and keeps detailed call review inside Evarmont.

Implemented actions

  • List joined teams and available channels
  • Select a team and channel
  • Send an operational channel message
  • Check account and connection health

The account type matters

Personal Microsoft accounts are not supported for this channel-message workflow. The consent flow is for work or school accounts, and the adapter checks the account again when testing health and sending.

Reconnecting the same unsupported account cannot fix that limitation. Use a supported organizational account with access to the intended team and channel.

A channel message is a small handoff

The adapter builds a bounded message and escapes caller-provided text. The selected destination belongs to the connection, so a caller cannot route a notification to another team.

Notifications are independent of booking correctness. When a message cannot be sent, the existing booking remains the record to use, and the connection or delivery issue needs separate attention.

Connect the account

Authorize with a Microsoft work or school account. Select a team first, then one of its channels. Evarmont rechecks the resource under the connected account before saving the destination.

Delegated permission to send channel messages and read the team and channel choices required for setup. The integration does not request migration-only application permissions to send ordinary notifications.

Events and inbound changes

There is no incoming-message ingestion, bot conversation or proactive application messaging. This integration sends notifications and does not monitor your team’s discussions.

Disconnect with clear expectations

Disconnecting stops new messages through this connection. Previously posted messages remain in the channel; message deletion and editing are not implemented operations.

Questions about Microsoft Teams

Can I connect a personal Microsoft account?

No. This workflow supports work and school accounts only.

Does Evarmont install a Teams conversation bot?

No. The implemented integration posts channel notifications through delegated access. It does not read messages or run bot conversations.

Are old messages removed on disconnect?

No. Message editing and deletion are not implemented. Disconnecting prevents further sends through that connection.
